Employee recognition programmes: An immanent critique

چکیده

In this article I present a critical reading of employee recognition programmes. utilize an immanent approach, drawing on the same principles that it is claimed underpin such programmes, namely desire needful subjects for in form self-respect and esteem, anticipation organizational relations are themselves prerequisite recognition. These articulated through Axel Honneth’s theory intersubjective as necessary condition what he refers to fulfilled self-realization social freedom. doing so, suggest that, rather than facilitating conditions benefits recognition, internal pathological tendencies towards reification, disrespect compelled identification result programmes undermining ontological flourish, threatening both individual harm.
